Manama: In a new international achievement in the field of public administration, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, has been elected as a member of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) for the 2025-2028 term, representing public administration institutes in the Middle East.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa expressed her pride in this international recognition, which reflects global confidence in the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership and capabilities in administrative development and institutional capacity building. This achievement aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government's direction under His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa noted that her election highlights Bahrain's advanced standing internationally, its notable achievements in public administration, and the high calibre of national competencies. She affirmed the Kingdom's role as an effective partner in shaping the future of public administration globally.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa added that representing Bahrain in IASIA will enhance regional and international partnerships, facilitate the exchange of best practices, improve government service quality, and support the Institute of Public Administration's continued efforts in developing national talent. Moreover, it will aid in adopting global best practices in governance and management, further reinforcing Bahrain's position as a leading hub for administrative development at regional and international levels.
