Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Thursday urged the chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Casino du Liban to work "as one team" to restore the casino's role as a major artistic, cultural, and tourism landmark.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Aoun stressed the importance of achieving sound financial governance at the casino in a way that safeguards the state's rights, strengthens public revenues, ensures compliance with the law, and puts an end to illegal practices.
He emphasized that reforming the casino's operations is essential to reinforcing transparency and restoring confidence in one of Lebanon's most prominent tourism institutions.
