Beirut: An enemy aircraft dropped a sound bomb on the landfill road (Shiyar) in the Al-Mahafir area, on the outskirts of the town of Aytaroun, targeting citizens who were collecting scrap, with no injuries reported.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the incident occurred when the aircraft released the sound bomb in an area frequented by scrap collectors. Although the attack was alarming, it resulted in no physical harm to the individuals present at the scene. The motive behind targeting scrap collectors remains unclear.
Local authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the aircraft’s actions. The lack of injuries has been a relief to both the local community and officials, who continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of residents in the area.
