Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received a delegation from the Syndicate of Food Importers at the Grand Serail. The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Yassin Jaber and Economy and Trade Minister Amer Al-Bisat.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation assured that food items remain available in markets in the usual quantities and that import operations are proceeding as expected.
During the discussions, PM Salam emphasized the importance of ensuring a steady supply of goods. He stated his intention to instruct relevant parties to expedite the entry of goods through various facilities. Additionally, efforts will be made to simplify necessary procedures to guarantee the smooth flow of products to markets.
