New york: The United Kingdom's mission at the United Nations Headquarters on Tuesday issued a statement on the X platform condemning Hizballah's attacks against Israel. The statement also warned that Israel's expansion of ground operations could undermine Lebanon's sovereignty.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the UK mission emphasized that continued escalation might obstruct ongoing efforts aimed at disarming Hizballah. The statement called for restraint from all involved parties to prevent further conflict.
The statement also highlighted the importance of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon. It expressed the need for both nations to work towards achieving lasting peace and stability for communities located on both sides of the Blue Line.
