Lebanese Army Repositions Units Amid Israeli Escalation, Warns Against Incitement

Beirut: The Lebanese Army on Wednesday said it has redeployed a number of its units in southern border areas following intensified Israeli attacks and incursions that have led to the encirclement of deployed forces and the disruption of supply lines.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Army Command stated that it continues to support residents to the extent possible, maintaining a presence of soldiers in affected towns. The Army warned that ongoing Israeli strikes target both military personnel and civilians, stressing the dangers of incitement and attempts by some media and social platforms to undermine the army's role.

The command emphasized that such narratives risk fueling internal tensions, as the army continues to carry out its duties under significant pressure and challenging conditions.
