President Joseph Aoun Condemns Israeli Aggression, Urges Global Intervention

Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, has issued a strong condemnation of recent Israeli actions, describing them as aggressive and in violation of international norms. He remarked, "These barbaric attacks, which neither recognize rights nor respect any agreements or commitments, have repeatedly demonstrated their disregard for all international laws and norms. Over the course of fifteen months since the cessation of hostilities agreement, we have witnessed the extent of violations and breaches that have been committed without any deterrent."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun highlighted the persistent aggression by Israel, noting a new massacre that adds to what he termed as Israel's "black record." He criticized this defiance against human values and the disregard for efforts aimed at easing tensions and achieving stability.

President Aoun also emphasized that this escalation by Israel places the full responsibility for its repercussions on them. He warned that the continuation of these aggressive policies will only result in further tension and instability, especially during a time when calm and respect for commitments are crucial.

Condemning what he described as a crime in the strongest terms, President Aoun called for the international community to take responsibility to halt these repeated attacks. He urged for an end to the aggressive approach that threatens the security and stability of the region.
