Subcommittee Begins Examination of Electoral Draft Law

Beirut: The sub-committee derived from the joint parliamentary committees tasked with studying articles 1 and 2 of the electoral draft law held its second meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy House Speaker, Farid Makkari. The meeting took place on Thursday, marking a significant step in the examination process of the proposed electoral changes. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the committee commenced its detailed review of the mentioned articles after establishing a discussion mechanism that remains classified from the previous meeting. The subcommittee has been given until next week to conclude its analysis and is expected to submit a comprehensive report to the joint committees upon completion.
