Strong Lebanon Bloc Warns of Ceasefire Violations, Rejects Any Israeli Security Zone

Beirut: The Strong Lebanon bloc, led by Gebran Bassil, on Thursday said the U.S.-announced ceasefire is facing "serious Israeli violations," citing continued strikes and systematic home demolitions, raising doubts over the fate of negotiations.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the bloc rejected any Israeli presence or buffer zone on Lebanese territory, calling for a unified national stance against occupation. It welcomed Arab engagement ahead of the Jeddah summit, expressing hope it would support Lebanon amid ongoing aggression.

The bloc also warned against hasty decisions that could trigger financial collapse, urging authorities to act responsibly to prevent further economic deterioration.
