Beirut: National News Agency correspondent reported that during a funeral procession for fallen martyrs in the Kafa'at area of Beirut's southern suburbs, random gunfire and RPG rounds were fired into the air. This incident prompted residents to appeal to the Lebanese Army to intervene, as the shooting was endangering public safety.

Reports indicated that stray bullets caused damage to several vehicles and penetrated a number of homes in the vicinity.
