Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Thursday engaged in discussions with Central Bank Governor Karim Said regarding the latest developments in banking reform legislation and the pursuit of monetary and economic stability. This meeting takes place against the backdrop of Lebanon's ongoing economic challenges.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Governor Said provided President Aoun with details of his forthcoming visit to the United States. During this visit, he is set to engage in discussions with senior officials from the International Monetary Fund and U.S. officials who oversee monetary, financial, and treasury affairs.
