Beirut: Administrative Development Minister, Fadi Makki, on Thursday emphasized the significance of internal cohesion and national unity following his discussions with President Joseph Aoun. He articulated these sentiments during a particularly critical juncture for Lebanon, underscoring the nation's need to rally together.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Makki reiterated Lebanon's unwavering stance in negotiations, highlighting several key principles. These include the full liberation of Lebanese territory, the extension of state authority throughout the nation, the return of prisoners and displaced individuals, and the initiation of reconstruction efforts.
Makki further urged the Lebanese people to steer clear of divisive rhetoric and accusations of treason. He called for collective support for the state and the Lebanese army to ensure stability and fortify the country's resilience against ongoing challenges.
