Five Martyrs, Three Wounded in Israeli Air Raid on Toura

Tyre: Five people were killed and three others wounded in an Israeli air raid on the town of Toura, causing significant material damage, a National News Agency correspondent reported. The airstrikes have targeted multiple villages in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts since the early hours of the morning.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the air raids began at 4:00 a.m., targeting several villages including Al-Ma'liyeh, Al-Haniyeh, Al-Mansouri, Al-Sha'itiyeh, Al-Qalileh, Biyout Al-Sayyad, Kafra, Al-Sultaniyeh, Yater, and Aita al-Jabal. The aerial attacks have been accompanied by artillery shelling, adding to the destruction in the region.

In the town of Abbasiyeh, the main road was obstructed due to the air raid. However, the municipality and civil defense ambulance teams worked swiftly to clear the rubble and reopen the road, ensuring access for emergency services and residents.

The ongoing airstrikes have heightened tensions in the region, with the local population bearing the brunt of the conflict. The situation remains volatile as residents grapple with the aftermath of the attacks and the threat of further strikes looms.
