Ramallah: Palestinain President and elected Fatah Movement leader, Mahmoud Abbas, cast his vote Saturday morning in the elections for the Central Committee and Revolutionary Council of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah). The vote took place in the Ahmed Shouqairi Hall at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, according to the Palestinian news agency "WAFA".
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Abbas toured the polling station and observed the electoral process, receiving a briefing from officials on the voting mechanisms and organizational procedures.
Abbas emphasized "the importance of ensuring the success of the democratic process, which reflects the unity of the movement and its commitment to renewing its leadership institutions."
