President Joseph Aoun Reviews CDR’s Operations and Upcoming Plans with Council for Development and Reconstruction Delegation


Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday reviewed with the President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), Mohammed Kabbani, along with vice presidents Ibrahim Shahrour and Youssef Karam, and Secretary-General Ghassan Khairallah, the Council’s ongoing operations and the plans outlined for the upcoming phases, as well as the challenges and difficulties it is facing amid current circumstances.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on evaluating the CDR’s current projects and their potential impact. Discussions also included strategies to address the obstacles encountered during the execution of development plans. The delegation provided insights into how these challenges might affect future initiatives and shared proposals for mitigating such impacts.



The President emphasized the importance of the CDR’s role in national development and expressed his commitment to supporting the Council’s initiatives. The delegation assured that efforts would continue to overcome the current challenges and to ensure the successful implementation of planned projects.
