Beirut: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi acknowledged a security breach that facilitated the US and Israeli strikes of February 28, which killed several Iranian political and military leaders. He indicated that this breach might still be ongoing.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Araghchi discussed the possibility of security failures prior to the war his country waged against the United States and Israel, suggesting that important government and military meetings may have been compromised.
In an interview, excerpts of which were published in Iranian media on Sunday, the Iranian Foreign Minister recounted his experience on the first day of the war, February 28. Araghchi stated that several key political and military decision-making bodies were holding meetings simultaneously with the airstrikes targeting Tehran.
