PM Salam Holds Talks with Iraqi Counterpart in Baghdad

Beirut: Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi welcomed his Lebanese counterpart, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and his ministerial delegation in Baghdad on Sunday, as reported by Iraq's state news agency "INA". The meeting marks a significant step in fostering cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Iraqi government spokesperson Haider al-Aboudi stated that the two prime ministers are scheduled to engage in bilateral talks. These discussions will be followed by an expanded meeting with ministers responsible for overseeing collaboration between the two nations.

The agenda for the talks includes strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in key areas such as development and energy. Additionally, both parties intend to address regional and international issues that are of mutual interest to Iraq and Lebanon.
