Beirut:Minister of Information, Attorney Paul Morcos, expressed his gratitude on social media for the positive support in ensuring fairness for contract employees following the Constitutional Council's rejection of an appeal.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Morcos congratulated contract employees for securing their pension rights, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of the President, the Speaker of Parliament, and various MPs. This achievement comes after nearly 19 years of waiting.
Morcos also acknowledged the contribution of legal experts who played a role in advocating for the employees' rights. He highlighted that the focus will now shift towards examining how to extend similar rights to other social groups under the current government.
