Egypt Refutes Claims of Participation in Abu Dhabi Meeting

Abu Dhabi:A senior Egyptian official has refuted reports suggesting that Egyptian representatives participated in a meeting held in Abu Dhabi, as reported by Russia Today.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the official described the claims as "baseless" and emphasized that Egypt does not engage in closed or undisclosed meetings. The official further stated that Egypt has no necessity to manage its regional relations through such channels.

The denial came amid media speculation about purported new regional security arrangements involving Arab and Israeli parties. Earlier reports from Israeli media had claimed that representatives from Arab states attended a meeting in Abu Dhabi with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
