Al Dhahirah Governorate's Office today signed 13 agreements to implement service and development projects in the governorate's three wilayats. Worth more than RO 12.5 million, the agreements' signing was in pursuance of efforts to upgrade the service and development sector in the governorate. The agreements included two projects to establish Yanqul and Dhank urban views and promenades on a total area of 65,000 square metres for each facility with a total cost of RO 4 million. Equipped with all basic amenities, the facilities will serve as leisure destinations for residents and tourists. They house theatre stages for different events, sports activities, children's games, fountains, restaurants, cafes and seating areas. Other projects include paving roads linking the governorate's three wilayats of Ibri, Yanqul and Dhank (with a cost of RO 6 million). Source: Oman News Agency
