Al-Rahi Visits Maronite League, Expresses Confidence in League’s Role in Fostering Unity Among Maronites.

Beirut: Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bshara Boutros Al-Rahi, visited the Maronite League, where he was warmly welcomed by President Khalil Karam and council members. According to National news agency - Lebanon, after a brief prayer, Karam expressed gratitude for Al-Rahi's leadership, emphasizing the League's vital role in supporting the Maronite Patriarchate since its establishment in 1952. In his address, Al-Rahi underscored the League's significance, stating, "Your presence reassures the Patriarchate, as you embody its teachings and values in your actions." Al-Rahi praised the League's efforts in upholding the Maronite identity and its commitment to Lebanon, saying, "Maronites and Lebanon are inseparable." Moreover, Al-Rahi expressed confidence in the League's role in fostering unity among Maronites and reaffirmed the importance of collaboration to address challenges facing the community. The Maronite Patriarch concluded with a blessing, highlighting the League's contributions as a cornerstone of t he Maronite Church and Lebanese society.
