Tripoli: America affirmed its support for promoting sustainable and ongoing improvements to health care systems in Libya. This was stated by the American special envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, during his participation in the virtual discussion that brought together the Libyan delegation and American officials, according to a post by Ambassador Norland on his account on the 'X' website today, Tuesday. Norland said, 'Thank you to the Director of the American-Libyan Chamber of Commerce, Debbie Hurst, for hosting today's virtual discussion with Libyan Ministry of Health officials who are visiting the United States to meet with health care providers and hospitals in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C..' The American ambassador added, 'We welcome their visit and support efforts aimed at promoting sustainable and ongoing improvements to health systems and health care in Libya and around the world.'
