Baabda: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday welcomed a delegation from the Syndicate of Traffic Experts, headed by Bashir Abdel Jalil, at Baabda Palace. The meeting focused on the current situation and pressing demands of traffic experts in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation outlined several key demands during the meeting. These included the approval of a law that would regulate the profession of traffic experts to ensure their rights and responsibilities are protected. Additionally, the delegates emphasized the need for social and health protection measures for experts and advocated for the revival of the 'expert stamp' law.
President Aoun reiterated the importance of enhancing road safety, identifying it as a national priority. He expressed his commitment to addressing the concerns raised and acknowledged the vital role that traffic experts play in ensuring the safety and efficiency of road systems.
