Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday met with Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny to review progress on the rehabilitation of Ren© Moawad - Kleyat Airport, the readiness of Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport for the summer travel season, and efforts to strengthen Lebanon's international road network.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on assessing the current status of the airport projects, with particular emphasis on ensuring that the necessary measures are in place for the anticipated increase in passenger traffic during the summer months. The discussions also covered strategies to enhance the infrastructure of the country's road network to support international connectivity and economic growth.
