Beirut: Industry Minister, Joe Issa El-Khoury, on Tuesday met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, at the ministry's office to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in the economic and industrial sectors. This meeting comes in the wake of Saudi Arabia's recent decision to permit Lebanese industrial and agricultural products into the Kingdom.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister El Khoury highlighted that this decision marks a significant turning point for the Lebanese industry. He noted that it directly supports the national economy and provides a pathway for boosting Lebanese exports to Gulf countries. The discussions underscored the mutual benefits of enhanced trade relations and the potential for future collaboration between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia in various industrial sectors.
