Aoun Reviews Oversight Work with Central Inspection Chief


Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday met with Central Inspection President Judge Georges Attieh, who briefed him on the activities of the general inspectorates aimed at strengthening oversight of the performance of public administrations and institutions under the authority of the Central Inspection Board.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on the various initiatives and measures undertaken by the Central Inspection Board to enhance transparency and accountability within public institutions. Judge Attieh provided President Aoun with detailed updates on the board’s efforts to ensure that public administrations adhere to established regulations and standards.

The discussion also included plans for future oversight activities and the potential challenges that may arise in the process of implementing these measures.
