Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, emphasized the significance of T©l© Liban's archive, labeling it as a "national treasure and our cultural heritage that deserves recognition." He highlighted the role that the public broadcaster has played in carrying Lebanon's cultural message to the world.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Aoun made these remarks during a ceremony celebrating T©l© Liban's nomination to UNESCO's Memory of the World Register. He underlined that the public broadcaster is not only an integral part of Lebanon's national identity but also a symbol of hope for the nation.
President Aoun noted, "From here emerged the voices that conveyed Lebanon's civilizational message to the world," underscoring T©l© Liban's role in showcasing the country's resilience, greatness, and capacity for renewal despite facing numerous challenges.
