Arab Potash Company Records JOD153 Million Profit by Third Quarter of 2024.

Amman: The Arab Potash Company announced on Wednesday that it achieved a profit of JOD153 million by the end of the third quarter of 2024, as detailed in the Company's financial statements. This significant profit underscores the company's robust performance in the global fertiliser market. According to Jordan News Agency, the financial statements revealed that the net sales revenues of the Company and its subsidiaries by the end of the third quarter amounted to approximately JOD509 million. The profit before tax reached JOD212 million, illustrating the company's adeptness at sustaining its market position amid global market fluctuations. Company Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Shahada Abu Hadeeb, remarked that the positive financial results highlight the Company's capability to navigate the dynamic global fertiliser market, particularly the potash sector. He noted that the Company, along with its subsidiaries and allied companies, contributed $996 million to the Kingdom's foreign currency reserves o ver the past nine months. Abu Hadeeb emphasized the Company's crucial role in bolstering global food security by supplying high-quality potash products to numerous countries. He also pointed out the Company's success in penetrating new markets while maintaining its traditional ones. Moreover, he acknowledged the government's efforts in fostering a conducive investment environment for the fertiliser and chemical sectors through supportive laws and regulations. Company CEO Maan Nsour discussed the Company's strategic vision for expansion and its investment projects aimed at diversifying its customer base and exploring non-traditional markets.
