Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Wednesday received Sheikh Talal Al-Daher and a delegation from Arab tribes in Khaldeh, who voiced support for his efforts to secure a ceasefire and reinforce stability. Al-Daher reaffirmed commitment to state sovereignty, civil peace, and the Taif Agreement, stressing that decisions on war and peace must rest solely with the state. He also backed the President's positions, calling for negotiations aligned with national constants and free from external pressure.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation rejected foreign interference and urged keeping Lebanon neutral from regional conflicts, while condemning Israeli violations and emphasizing support for residents of the South.
