Army Completes Deployment in South Litani Region


Beirut: Army units have successfully completed their deployment in the South Litani region, expanding their presence in the central sector. The Army Command – Orientation Directorate announced that military units are now stationed in the towns of Qawzah, Debel, Hanin, and Beit Lif – Bint Jbeil following the withdrawal of Israeli forces. This deployment was conducted in coordination with the five-member committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement mechanism.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Army Command is maintaining close coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding the situation in the region, as part of the framework established by Resolution 1701. This resolution aims to promote peace and stability in the area.



The Army Command has urged citizens to refrain from approaching areas vacated by Israeli forces and to follow the instructions provided by the military units to ensure safety and security in the region.
