The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) said Friday that two members of Al-Sabah militia were killed when a road bomb, they tried to plant in Lower Shabelle region, blew up accidentally.
The blast took place on the road between area 50 and Lanta-Buro - Al-Sabab's former stronghold nearly 25 miles (40 km) to the west of Mogadishu, spokesperson of ATMIS said in statements to the Somali National News Agency (SONNA).
Meanwhile, Federal Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Daud Aweis said the Somali security services arrested 10 persons under the suspicion of association with Al-Shabab militia
