AUB’s Suliman S. Olayan School of Business: First in Lebanon to Receive BSIS Label

Beirut: The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) has been awarded the prestigious Business School Impact System (BSIS) label, highlighting its measurable contributions to economic development, societal well-being, and talent cultivation. OSB stands as the first business school in Lebanon, alongside AUB Mediterraneo's faculty of business being the first in Cyprus, to receive this recognition. Additionally, OSB is one of three schools in the MENA region to achieve this milestone.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this recognition reflects OSB's societal and economic contributions and aligns with its AACSB accreditation and EFMD membership, reinforcing its adherence to global standards of quality and relevance. The award highlights the school's contributions across seven dimensions: financial impact through economic contributions and job creation; educational impact by equipping students with future-ready skills; business development impact through partnerships and entrepreneurship support; intellectual impact through research and thought leadership; regional ecosystem impact by fostering collaboration and innovation; societal impact through sustainability and social responsibility; and image impact by elevating OSB's reputation on regional and international levels.

This achievement underscores the alignment of OSB's vision and mission with its measurable impact, driving innovation, leadership, and positive change across communities and industries.
