Qoreitem: Prime Minister-designate, Dr. Nawal Salam, hosted UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, at his residence to discuss Lebanon's current situation, particularly the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. This discussion follows the recent extension of the ceasefire agreement in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President-designate Salam also met with the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon, Imran Riza. Their meeting centered on enhancing cooperation between UN institutions and the Lebanese state, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the challenges faced by Lebanon.
