Beirut: Free Patriotic Movement Chief, MP Gebran Bassil, considered that any attack targeting the Lebanese Army is an attack on all of Lebanon. In a post on X, Bassil said the martyrdom of army officers and soldiers in an Israeli airstrike constitutes a direct aggression on the Lebanese state, its institutions, its people, and its military.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Bassil called on the international community to move beyond mere condemnation, accusing Israel of continuing to violate international charters and resolutions.
