Qoleiat: The inauguration ceremony for Rene Moawad Airport in Qoleiat commenced with the arrival of the first flight, carrying Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. He was accompanied by Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamni, marking the official start of operations at the airport.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar and Defense Minister Michel Menassa also arrived at the newly operational Rene Moawad Airport. They traveled aboard a military helicopter that landed on the airport's runway, further underscoring the significance of the event.
