Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri received this evening at Ain El-Tineh Palace former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt, who presented him with his memoirs, recently published in a book entitled "A Fate in This Levant." The meeting was an opportunity to discuss developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the latest political and field matters.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Jumblatt emerged from the meeting without making a statement, only remarking: "I only came to present my memoirs to Speaker Berri."
