Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmed al-Hajjar at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The meeting focused on Lebanon's general situation, as well as the latest political, field, and security developments in the country. Additionally, former MP Nazih Najem visited Speaker Berri in Ain al-Tineh.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also received a congratulatory cable from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of the Hijri New Year. President El-Sisi expressed his wishes for goodness, prosperity, security, and peace for the entire Islamic nation. He specifically extended his wishes for progress and prosperity to the Lebanese people.
