Beirut: House Speaker, Nabih Berri, engaged in a series of important meetings at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. On Monday, Berri met with Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, where they discussed the country's general situation and the ministry's work programs.
According to National News agency - Lebanon, Berri's engagements continued with a delegation from the Audit Bureau. The delegation was led by its president, Judge Mohammad Badran, and included Court of Audit's Public Prosecutor, Judge Fawzi Khamis, and heads of Chambers Judges Abdullah Nasser, Inaam Boustani, and Nelly Abi Younis. The group extended their well-wishes to Speaker Berri on the New Year and holiday occasion.
In a subsequent meeting, Berri received Mohammad El-Hout, Chairman and Director General of Middle East Airlines (MEA). Their discussions centered on the current conditions of the airline and its operational programs.
The day's meetings concluded with a visit from Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud, further emphasizing the range of discussions Berri undertook on national matters.
