Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Wednesday hosted Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam at the second presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh. The meeting focused on the latest political and field developments, particularly in light of Israel’s ongoing aggression against Lebanon. Discussions also addressed the issue of displaced persons and the political efforts aimed at curbing the aggression.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Speaker Berri also held discussions with Brigadier General Andre Rahal, the Advisor to the President of the Republic. Their conversation revolved around the field and political updates related to the Israeli aggression.
In a subsequent meeting, Berri welcomed Environment Minister Tamara al-Zein. Their discussions covered the general situation in the country, focusing on political and field developments. They also addressed the displaced persons file and discussed the work programs of the Ministry of Environment.
