Berri Discusses Regional Developments and Food Safety Initiatives with Kuwaiti Ambassador and Lebanese Official

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday met with Mohammed Sultan Al-Sharji, the newly appointed Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, at his residence in Ain El-Tineh. The ambassador's visit was a courtesy call marking the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon. The meeting provided a platform to discuss recent developments in Lebanon and the broader region, as well as the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Kuwait.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also held a meeting with Dr. Elie Naji Awad, the head of the Lebanese Food Safety Authority. Dr. Awad was accompanied by the Authority's advisor, Dr. Raymond Akiki. During this meeting, Dr. Awad outlined the objectives and work programs of the Food Safety Authority, emphasizing the importance of food safety initiatives in the country.
