Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with US Special Envoy to Lebanon and Syria, Thomas Barrack, at the second presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The meeting, attended by US Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson and Speaker Berri's media advisor Ali Hamdan, focused on discussing developments in Lebanon and the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting lasted over an hour and 15 minutes. Discussions centered on political and field updates impacting Lebanon and the surrounding region. Following the meeting, Barrack commented briefly on the discussions, emphasizing the importance of stability and expressing optimism, stating, "The meeting with the Speaker of Parliament was excellent, and we are working toward achieving stability. You must remain hopeful."
