Berri Engages in Political and Telecommunications Discussions with Key Figures

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Monday hosted several significant meetings at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The discussions centered around Lebanon's political landscape and the telecommunications sector.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, former Prime Minister Najib Mikati was among those who met with Speaker Berri. Their conversation focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the latest political developments.

Speaker Berri also held a meeting with Telecommunications Minister Charles Hage, where Ogero Director General, Ahmad Oueidat, was present. The trio discussed updates in the telecommunications sector and evaluated the ministry's ongoing work programs.

Later in the day, Berri received Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Andrew Barnes, who was on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Lebanon's general situation and the bilateral ties between Lebanon and Australia.
