According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri received a message from Raymonde Gagné, President of the Canadian Senate, as well as phone calls from notable figures such as Grand Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian, Deputy Head of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council Sheikh Ali Khateeb, and Druze spiritual leader Sheikh Sami Abou Al-Mouna. These communications were to express congratulations for Berri's role in facilitating a ceasefire and halting Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
