Dbayeh: Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP George Boujikian, stood in for President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and House Speaker, Nabih Berri, at a celebration organized by the Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Muhammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, in honor of India’s National Day. The event occurred at the Le Royal Hotel in Dbayeh on Monday evening.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, during his speech, Boujikian underscored the strong relations between Lebanon and India, focusing on politics, economics, and trade. He particularly emphasized the enduring ties between the Lebanese and Indian peoples.
Boujikian also extended his congratulations to India on its National Day, expressing wishes for the country’s continued growth and prosperity, alongside a further strengthening of its ties with Lebanon.
