A cabinet session that was scheduled for today failed to convene due to lack of quorum, but a consultative meeting was held instead between Caretaker Premier Najib Mikati and the ministers. Mikati is expected to issue a statement shortly. It is to note that the next cabinet session, set for Monday, is devoted to discuss the 2023 state budget.
