Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam is currently presiding over a Cabinet session at the Grand Serail. The session is attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri and a host of ministers, including those responsible for finance, defense, culture, energy and water, tourism, trade and economy, affairs of the displaced and information technology, interior and municipalities, justice, telecommunications, youth and sports, education and higher education, industry, administrative development, public works and transport, information, environment, and public health.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the session also sees the participation of key officials such as the Director-General of the Presidency Dr. Antoine Choucair and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makkieh. These officials are expected to contribute to the discussions, which are crucial for addressing the current administrative and policy issues facing the government.
