Baabda: The Council of Ministers on Tuesday convened in a regular session at Baabda Presidential Palace, under the chairmanship of President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, and the ministers.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Council of Ministers will continue to discuss the implementation of the government's ministerial statement, in its section on extending the state's sovereignty over all its territories through its own forces exclusively, and the arrangements for a cessation of hostilities for November 2024.
Ahead of the Cabinet's session, a meeting was held between President Aoun and Premier Salam, during which both men broached the latest developments.
