According to Kuwait News Agency, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized Beijing's commitment to engaging with Washington based on principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and a win-win strategy. Wang's remarks were made during a meeting with Ian Bremmer, a prominent American political scientist and president of the Eurasia Group, held in Beijing. Relations between the United States and China have been strained due to disagreements on multiple fronts. Key points of contention include U.S. arms sales to Taiwan, tariffs on Chinese electric vehicle exports, and semiconductor sales. Additionally, China's stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict has been a source of friction.
