Beirut: A copy of Radio Lebanon's archive has been transferred to Banque du Liban for safekeeping. This action follows a request made by Information Minister Paul Morcos, responding to an initiative by Central Bank Governor Karim Saeed.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the archive copy was handed over by the station's technical department to the Central Bank's Directorate of Services. This transfer was completed under an official handover record, ensuring the preservation and protection of the valuable historical data contained within the archives.
In a separate initiative, Minister Morcos has reached out to several journalists affected by recent attacks, offering his support and expressing solidarity. These journalists were either injured or had family members killed in the attacks, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by media professionals in the region.
