Beirut: Israeli air and drone strikes earlier on Tuesday hit multiple areas in southern Lebanon, leaving several dead and wounded. A strike on a house in the Mieh Mieh camp east of Sidon killed three people, while another attack between Adloun and Abu al-Aswad left two dead and two injured. A drone strike in Mahroneh killed one person, and another targeted a motorcycle in Jouaiya, causing injuries.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, heavy artillery shelling targeted Khiam, while additional drone strikes hit Jebchit and Harouf. Separately, Mahmoud Hamad was killed in a strike on Kfartebnit. He served as a senior official at Nabatieh Technical Institute and was mourned by teaching associations.
